Founded by the esteemed Rick Martinez, City Design has been a heart-centered and innovative presence in Valley Junction for decades. As Rick steps back after a career that profoundly influenced design in Des Moines, we are proud to begin a new chapter as part of the Drury Design family. Drury Design, a Chicago-based design/build firm owned by Gladys Schanstra, has been a mainstay of Midwestern kitchen/bath industry innovation and leadership since 1987.
Today, ISU alumna Emily Kreber – who rose through the ranks at Drury Design – leads City Design, bringing her wealth of expertise to our community. We are honored to build upon Rick's foundation while introducing fresh creativity and an expanded range of products.
